James "Jim" Muldoon, 91, resident of Darien, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home, on August 10th, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family.
Jim was a loving husband to Arlene (Swanson) for 61 years, beloved father of Colleen (Kurt) Hanson, James (Junko), Douglas, Brendan and his late infant son, Steven Patrick Muldoon. He was the best Grandpa to Brett (Jackie), Cara, and Cade Hanson; Aidan and Ryan Muldoon; and James T. Muldoon. Brother of Patricia (late Victor) Panzik, his Irish twin and the late Elizabeth Muldoon: brother-in-law to Barbara Hopkins, late William (Marilyn) Swanson, Marvin (Carol) Swanson, Melvin (Linda) Swanson, MaryAnn (Alan) Freidin, the late Karen (William) Randolph, and a favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews who loved Uncle Jim.
He was born on September 8th, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Mary and Patrick Muldoon. His parents were born in Glasgow, Scotland and met in Chicago, where they raised their family. He attended St. Brendan's Catholic Sc
