Ronald Lee Vickers, 76, of Aurora, IL, passed away on August 25, 2024. Born to the late Norman and Rachel Vickers in Aurora, Illinois, Ron is remembered as a treasured son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

Ron graced the halls of East Aurora High School, etching the early chapters of a life well-lived, earmarked by devotion to his family and an unwavering zest for life. He united in marriage to his beloved wife, Lee Vickers, and together they nurtured a family that came to know his kindness, generous smile, and spirited laughter.

His memory lives on through his children, Matt Vickers, Rhonda DeLaTorre, Katie Kinder, Melissa Chavez (Gil Chavez), and Chris Nila(Jeff Nila); as well as his stepchildren, Donald (Viragene)and Kathleen Fraser.
