Colleen Edith Prince, 57, of Tinley Park, IL, passed away early Saturday morning, June 8, 2024. Colleen was born in South Bend, IN, on October 18, 1966. She is a graduate of Bolingbrook (IL) high school class of 1985.
Colleen spent much of her career in retail, most recently in management at Home Depot in Bedford Park. Colleen was devoted to her daughter, Shannon. She attended all of Shannon's figure skating programs, soccer games, and golf matches. Colleen and her husband, Russell Prince, enjoyed motorcycling and listening to their favorite Country singer, Bill Gray, as well as caring for their rescue dogs. Colleen was adventuresome and liked to try new things. She learned to ski and golf. In 2017 she ran in the Chicago Marathon. She was also known for her fun side, as when she went to work dressed as an elf during the Christmas season, and as a wonderful planner for parties, anniversary celebrations and other events.
