Elizabeth Hubbell, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 29th, in Downers Grove, Illinois. She was 87 years old.
Elizabeth was the cherished wife of the late Daniel V. Hubbell, with whom she shared fifty-two years of love and companionship. Together, they built a beautiful family, and she was the devoted mother of David Hubbell, Elizabeth (Daniel) Pritchard, Sarah (Robert) Stein, Joseph Hubbell, and Christopher (Anastasia) Hubbell. Elizabeth's legacy of love extends to her four grandchildren, Samantha, Lindsay, Grayson, and Ethan, who were her pride and joy. She also leaves behind many wonderful nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss her dearly.
For nearly twenty years, Elizabeth was a dedicated and valued member of the Hinsdale District 181 School System. Her passion for education and her commitment to the children and community were evident in her everyday work.
