Passed away on June 18th, 2024, at Bolingbrook Hospital.
Survived by mother Patty Guzman, grandmother Maria Delcarmen Guzman, grandfather Ismael Guzman, Uncle Rudy Guzman, Aunt Rebecca Guzman, Aunt Carmen Krevis, Uncle Will Krevis, cousins Kayla Krevis and Oscar Guzman. Also survived by her dog Toby and her cats Ollie and Nikki.
Valerie loved reading. She was a shift supervisor at Starbucks and spent her free time hanging out with friends and family. She enjoyed watching movies and playing with her dog Toby. She was a 2nd-degree black belt, played volleyball, loved to travel and going on adventures.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the GoFund me for her medical bills and funeral arrangements would be appreciated.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Minooka Mission Bible Church, on Saturday, June 29th at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until the time of service. A balloon release for Valerie will be held directly following the Funeral Mass.
