Steven C. Pausche, age 68, passed away in his home in Plainfield, IL on June 28. He was born to Fred and Doris Pausche on May 11, 1956. A former resident of Downers Grove, Steve was a sports fanatic. He was a great bowler and enjoyed playing on many bowling leagues. As an avid golfer, he could often be on the course whenever he could go. He spent many years playing softball in Woodridge, and was the king of his backyard wiffle ball field. In his youth he could be found on local ponds as the goalie playing hockey with his friends. He is survived by his three children, Beth (Jason) Wegner, Amber (Arturo) Vera, and Scott (Jasmine) Pausche, his 5 grandsons, Josh, Noah, Dylan, Donovan, and Evan, and his siblings Ken Pausche and Lori Mertz.
